K & D Joinery is a London family company which was formed in 1984. We soon established ourselves in London with a reputation for the manufacture of high quality joinery encompassing timber windows, doors, stairs and specialist joinery to Building Contractors, Architects and Private Clients. A progression of expansion since then has seen two moves to satisfy the increasing demand and now we are in a modern 30,000 sq ft factory close to Dagenham, London. A policy of continued investment and the most recent factory relocation has given a joinery facility which compliments our diverse skills to the maximum. Our program of expansion with the accompanying investment has enabled the highly skilled and versatile team of joiners to manufacture in a wide variety of materials using a unique combination of traditional and technically advanced skills. Manufacture is to the highest quality, with the product performance to meet today's technical criteria for all timber products. We have timber certification to FSC and PEFC, and have certification for the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme - CHAS. We also have within our joinery product range, passive windows and doors certified to 0.8W/m²K. The company manufactures not only the classical wooden windows, door sets, stairs, but also a diverse range of timber products to satisfy client’s specific requirements. Attention to detail is one of our hallmarks and the latest CAD systems are used extensively, and we can provide detailed drawings for approval. Our facility in London provides for laminating, veneering, glazing and with our advanced factory finishing facility we can offer a variety of finishes from primed for site decoration, to fully three and four coat finishes. To compliment this, a variety of sealers and lacquers to customer specifications can also be offered.
